Jourdan Carroll, aka Big Daddy Boo Bear, will bring his highly acclaimed Barry White tribute show to Syracuse Dec. 13 for the 100 Black Men of Syracuse 7th Annual Banquet. Carroll, who hails from Detroit, Mich., is a regular with Legends in Concert in Las Vegas and delights audiences with his remarkable voice, charisma and stage presence. He started his professional singing career in small clubs and he even developed his own stage show. His unmistakable resemblance to the late Barry White got Carroll started as a tribute artist. His distinctive bass voice made it easy for him to master the singing impersonation of the legendary balladeer.

“We wanted to present a special treat this year for all those who expressed their support for our mentoring and other community work by attending our annual banquet year after year,” said Drake Harrison, chairman of the 100’s Economic Empowerment Committee. “The air of elegance, romanticism and soulfulness of Big Daddy Boo Bear fit perfectly with our theme for the evening – !00 Black Men of Syracuse Brings ‘Hollywood to Syracuse.'”
