New Season of Free SAT Prep Classes Begins Oct. 8

A new round of free Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) preparation classes will begin Saturday, Oct. 8 and continue each Saturday through Oct. 29 at Syracuse University’s Hall of Languages. The classes are part of a 2016-2017 schedule of three sessions sponsored by a partnership comprised of 100 Black Men of Syracuse, Syracuse University and Say Yes to Education. Students can attend one, two or all three sessions.

  • Session 1: Oct. 8, Oct. 15, Oct. 22 and Oct. 29

    Rapport building and student engagement to foster a conducive learning environment

  • Session 2 (2017): Feb. 4, Feb. 11, Feb. 18, Feb. 25 and March 4

    My Philosophy on the SAT: Helping students develop their unique approach to the SAT experience

  • Session 3 (2017): April 1, April 8, April 15, April 22 and April 29
    H.O.M.E. (Here Our Minds Expand): Helping students understand achievement as a collective responsibility of family, school and community; empowering them by acknowledging and affirming their successful year-long commitment to the program as a major achievement

All sessions will be held on Saturday at SU’s Hall of Languages from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free lunch will be provided. Register Online.
