As 100 Black Men of Syracuse Inc. this month launches Saturday Academy, its new, weekly academic enrichment program, and expands its rebranded group mentoring program as STEP 1, both at the Syracuse Academy of Science, we welcome two new faces to our board of directors.
Ryan L. Beauford of Baldwinsville, a public safety commander at Syracuse University, and Tony Clark of Baldwinsville, a civilian security consultant for the U.S. Army, will each serve two-year terms as at-large directors following their election at the 100’s annual elections held Jan. 3 at the group’s office in the South Side Innovation Center. Former at-large director Drake Harrison, director of the Collegiate Science Technology Entry Program at Onondaga Community College, was also elected to a two-year term as vice president of programs.
The remainder of the 100’s board is unchanged. Following his re-election as president, Vincent B. Love, treasurer of the North Syracuse Central School District, will continue to lead the 100 and its board of directors as he begins his fourth consecutive, two-year term. Also re-elected Jan. 3 to two-year terms are:

Vice President of Finance, Darris Williams of DeWitt, former engineering programs coordinator at Constellation Energy, beginning his fourth term

Vice President of Administration, J.B. McCampbell of Liverpool, president and owner of JBM Media Services, starting his second term

At-large director, Jawwaad Rasheed of Rome, NY, Oneida Family Court Magistrate, serving his second term
