Education Statement

100 Black Men of Syracuse helps young people appreciate the role education can play throughout their lives. Our education focus is realized through our: Youth Empowerment Programs, which serves youth in grades 4 through 12; Brilliant Young Minds book club; Public Speaking 101; “Real Men Read” school outreach, as well as robotics and other STEM-related activities. We provide educational experiences that expand students’ knowledge in a structured and engaging way. The 100 also continues to collaborate with other organizations in sponsoring student participation in The Virtual HBCU College Tours. And, we offer seminars that assist students and their families in navigating the college admission and financial aid process.
