Mariah Senecal-Reilly, MPA, marketing coordinator for Circare, and Novelette Pierce, director of operations for Contact Community Services, will be among the guest speakers at the third in a series of free, monthly public health lectures, hosted at 7 p.m. March 27 by 100 Black Men of Syracuse and Black Nurses Rock.

Also speaking are Steven Comer, MA, CASAC, WIP, a psychiatric rehabilitation counselor for St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center’s Personalized Recovery Oriented Services program, and Jasmin Allen, Ph.D., staff therapist at the Syracuse University Counseling Center.

The 90-minute lecture will be held at the South Side Innovation Center, 2610 South Salina St. in Syracuse. Senecal-Reilly and Pierce will discuss mental health services in the black community.

The free community lecture series, which is held the fourth Monday of each month through July 24, will feature a range of remaining health topics, including:

• prostate cancer

• Alzheimer’s Disease

• diabetes

• stroke

No advance registration is required for the lecture series. Previous topics in the lecture series covered local aging services and heart attack and blood pressure screenings.
