100 Black Men of Syracuse Inc. is dedicated to the economic empowerment of Syracuse’s communities of color. As a change agent, the 100 recognizes our commitment must be directed at balancing the scales of economic injustice and inequity on behalf of those communities. We are driven to increase access to investment capital and government contracts for minority businesses. The 100 supports M/WBEs (Minority and Women Business Enterprises) by championing the expansion of state and local government contracts, as well as supporting those pursuing MWBE certification. Lastly, our members serve on task forces, boards of directors and other bodies that influence economic policy and hold decision makers accountable.
